Netflix has made me such a happy person by resurrecting Arrested Development, and making all new episodes available to watch over Memorial Day weekend. I'm taking this opportunity to sort through old photos and write some catch-up posts while I giggle away at this genius show. So, catch-up post #1 - back in February Cheryl and I took a girls' overnight trip to San Francisco. Jon and Leslie graciously opened their home to us Friday night, and took us out for dinner and cocktails. On Saturday morning we enjoyed the view, sipped coffee, and laughed at Kai and Sweet Brown before we left to start our day in the city.
We went to Pier 23 for a big breakfast on the patio...
Yes... that is breakfast. It has egg on it, so it counts.
We had a groupon for a magical bus tour but the bus never arrived so we ended up walking around downtown, shopping, and exploring the Alamo Square neighborhood.
We stopped for a root beer float and then enjoyed a beautiful drive home along the coast.
Some times it still doesn't feel real - five years ago I don't think Cheryl or I imagined we would be taking day trips up the coast to shop in San Francisco!
